SARAI SAD ULLAH

The monument was built by Shaikh Sad-ul-lah during Akbar’s regime in A.D. 1565-66. It is square on plan with high enclosure walls provided with pillared cells on all sides. Its entrance is through a small gateway from north. The lintels over the outer row of pillars on the eastern side facing west bear inscriptions in Naskh and Nastaliq characters. Another small gateway lies in the middle of the western enclosure wall which leads to a step-well.
